Always on top of the job

The associate that was called about our group of 23 was rude about having to accommodate us and hung up on our caller. When we arrived we were told that they needed more notice than what we gave them. Someone else in our group asked this same associate how their night was and the answer was "Fine untill all of you showed up." The food was awesome as usual. We would have been understanding if the store was busy, but it was not.

Salad bar was great. Pizza wasn't very hot. Maybe check the temperature. Thin crust was tough, couldn't cut it with a fork. Selection at 11:45 was scarce, they did put out fresh by noon. Unsweetened tea was out, told the hostess. Half an hour later, it was still out. Place was clean. The floor was pretty wet due to people's shoes and no one was mopping nor was there a wet floor sign. Cash register person was complaining about how foggy her brain was and she was seeing double. Not very good when she was handling the money. Needs improvement.

The food I was able to eat was good, however it took forever to restock the chicken and mashed potatoes. After about a half hour I was able to get a piece of chicken but I never got any mashed potatoes. Other customers kept asking when things would be ready just to be told we have it but it’s for delivery orders. To say I was disappointed with this visit is an understatement. I’m hoping they were just having an off night.

Food on the chicken buffet wasn’t very fresh, slow about changing it out. Other than that it was alright

Busy night, but all went well!!

Pleasant employees at the register. Nice assortment of pizza. Salad bar was fresh. Ample hot items; chicken, potatoes, gravy etc. Only complaint, small, was the bisquits were hard as a rock.

The pizzas were good, but still not cut through with a knife. Hard to get. Staff was very friendly.

No attendant at cash register to order, stood there for a few minutes! Very friendly woman came from the back. Pizza buffet was stocked, Chicken buffet was full also. Food was hot, enjoyed eating dinner.

So much better with new ownership! I think the Sigourney one is still a bit better because they have more items on the salad buffet, but the Oskaloosa one is much improved. The macaroni and cheese pizza and stuffing were especially good, and my husband loved the bread sticks. I did pick out a few pieces of lettuce from my salad that were not good, otherwise great improvement! Previously everything was too salty, but today was fine.

I reserved a party room for a large group, but when we arrived they did not seem to even know we were coming. They were quick to open the room and accommodate us, and did manage to keep up the buffet, which was good.

Prices are ridiculously expensive.

Im so glad to have Pizza Ranch in Oskaloosa again! My favorite place to eat. The place was fresh and clean. Staff were very friendly. Buffett was kept full and hot. My visit was perfect!!
