We have school on our minds as we gather supplies and pack backpacks in preparation for the first day of a new year approaching for my kids. There’s a mix of nerves and excitement as the “big day” draws closer. Maybe you’re feeling some of these same things?

One of the things we do ahead of time is to start praying for our teachers, classmates and everyone else involved with our local schools. We pray that everyone's nerves would be calmed on that first day and for the year to be successful for everyone. I encourage you to take the time to pray for your local places of education this week.
