Rock Rapids, Iowa Pizza Ranch to Host “Pink My Ride” Event

(May 24, 2010)-Rock Rapids Pizza Ranch, along with the Rapid Speedway, is proud to host the event “Pink My Ride” on June 3, 2010.  Local racers will take the weekend to acknowledge and promote Children’s Miracle Network by decaling their cars with pink graphics for the race weekend.

“We are very excited to host this event.  This is a great opportunity for us to not only raise money for Children’s Miracle Network but also raise awareness about the organization,” says Rock Rapids Pizza Ranch Manager, Schuyler Noteboom.

The event will take place at the Rock Rapids Pizza Ranch store location, beginning at 5:00 PM.  A stock car display, along with various games such as a bean bag toss, box obstacle course and water balloons will be set up in the parking lot to provide entertainment to customers.  In addition to these activities, the radio show, “Thursday Night Thunder” will be housed and broadcasting their live radio show from Pizza Ranch.

Pizza Ranch will also be hosting a tip night that evening in which a percentage of the night’s sales, along with any tips collected, will be donated directly to Children’s Miracle Network.

Children’s Miracle Network, founded in 1983, is a non-profit organization that raises funds for more than 170 children’s hospitals.  It is comprised of many people, organizations and media partners who have united to help sick and injured children in local communities.
