Conor Daly takes First in Star Mazda Pizza Ranch 100

After taking second place in the Star Mazda Pizza Ranch 100 in 2009, Connor Daly of Juncos Racing was back to win it all and that’s exactly what he did.

Having won the last three out of four races in the 2010 Star Mazda Championship, Daly was thrilled to make this is fourth consecutive win stating, “The Juncos Racing team and I worked hard this weekend and we plan to just keep executing like we’re doing now.”Upon completion of the 100 lap race, Daly was greeted and congratulated in the Pizza Ranch Victory lane by President and Cofounder Adrie Groeneweg. 

18-year-old Daly is an Indianapolis native and graduated from high school this May.

 Pizza Ranch Sponsors Star Mazda Series at Iowa Speedway 

(May 24, 2010)-Pizza Ranch is proud to partner with the Iowa Speedway in Newton, Iowa to present the 2010 Pizza Ranch 100 Star Mazda Series on Saturday, June 19, 2010.

 “Pizza Ranch is excited to continue our sponsorship of the Pizza Ranch 100 Star Mazda Series.  We are looking forward to another exciting night of racing action at Iowa Speedway,” says Gwen Lahrs, Senior Advertising and Marketing Manager.

The Pizza Ranch 100 will feature participants of the Star Mazda Series which travels throughout the United States.  The series is a development series that feeds drivers into the Indy Car series circuit.  This racing circuit has become one of the most “prolific, successful and richest driver development series in all of auto racing.”

Saturday holds non-stop racing action with practice runs and races throughout the day.  Parking lots for the event will open at noon, with spectator gates opening at 1:00 PM.  The Star Mazda Race will take place at 7:30 PM.
