Well Matt grabed the p1 spot midway through qualifying. He’s currently sittin in P3.

Matts about 5 cars away from qualifying his car and he’s excited!

The #20 car came out for final practice fast.  Matt held in #2 for most of practice until guys started doing mock qualifying runs.  I think Matt ended with the 7th fastest time in final practice.  And the good news is Matt said he could have gone even faster!  Matt also got to do an interview on ESPN after practice.  Enjoy some pictures from pit road…

Nearing the end of the 1st practice Matt is currently sitting in 34th position. The crew is working hard to get the car freed up and back on the track for a few more laps.

Heavy showers fell in Memphis yesterday… dropping almost 1.5 inches of rain. Drivers will have to rubber up the track today in practice.
The good news is the forecast looks mostly sunny for Saturday.

Here’s the broadcast schedule for this weekend’s race in Memphis:

Friday: 3:30 pm CST on ESPN2 (Final practice)

Saturday: 9:45 am CST on ESPN2 (Qualifying)

Saturday: 2:00 pm CST on ESPN2 (Kroger on Track for the Cure 250)
