•After a solid qualifying effort, Michael McDowell and the No.20 Pizza Ranch Toyota Camry team took the green flag from the fifth starting position. Early on McDowell radioed in his car was just a little loose on exit. Crew Chief Kevin Kidd called McDowell down pit road on lap 50 under yellow flag conditions, for four tires, fuel and an air pressure adjustment.

•McDowell continued to run in the fifth position saying his car was good and that the adjustments seemed to have helped. The team maintained in the top-five for the majority of the race. The Pizza Ranch team made routine stops on lap 111 and 185, changing four tires, adding fuel and adjusting on the car to make it better with each stop and keeping McDowell in the top five.

•The final pit stop came at lap 243, two tires and a splash of fuel was the call, the Pizza Ranch team went to work getting their driver out in the second position for the restart. McDowell took the lead diving his Toyota Camry deep into turns one and two fighting off the surging Keselowski.

Michael McDowell’s Post Race Thoughts:
“First off all I’m very thankful to be able to drive this Pizza Ranch Toyota, you know it’s a great opportunity for me to drive for Joe Gibbs Racing it’s only a couple times a year but you know it’s bittersweet, we had our shot there but I got a little loose in turn three and Brad got a run and I just couldn’t hold the bottom. This is a great finish, when you’re that close to getting the victory; it’s definitely a tough one. Brad definitely had the best car tonight, but on those restarts everybody’s got a shot.”
