Pizza Ranch Inks Franchise Agreement in Andover

Midwest-based Restaurant Concept Offers New Dining Option for Andover Residents

ANDOVER, Minn. (August 20, 2013) – Pizza Ranch, the popular Midwest-based, fast-casual restaurant concept featuring a family-friendly atmosphere with craveable food and legendary service, has signed a franchise agreement with local Andover residents Randall and Sheryl Hubin to open a new location at 13797 Jay St. NW in Andover. The new restaurant will begin construction in late-August and is slated to open around the first of the year.

“With very few restaurants in Andover, we are thrilled to be opening a Pizza Ranch and invite the local community to share in our excitement. We look forward to serving each of our guests fresh, great tasting food with unrivaled guest service,” said Randall Hubin, co-owner of the new Pizza Ranch in Andover. “Everyone will enjoy our one-of-a-kind dining environment, not to mention limitless menu offerings that provide something for everyone. Soon after opening, we will also be offering delivery service so our guests can enjoy the full range of our menu at home as well.”

Randall transitions into entrepreneurship with Pizza Ranch following a 25-year stint in Corporate America. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Human Capital at OptumHealth, a subsidiary of UnitedHealth Group. Back in high school and college, Randall worked at a local pizza restaurant where he grew up. He enjoyed the job then, and over the years he and Sheryl had talked about someday owning and running their own restaurant.

"We were seeking a venture we could do together and wanted to partner with a strong restaurant franchise where ‘giving back’ was part of the fabric of the organization,” said Randall.
“Pizza Ranch not only has a great product and excellent service, but the values and community-focus are an excellent fit with our personal values.”

The new 7,800 square-foot restaurant will seat up to 266 guests in a comfortable dining atmosphere and employ upwards of 70 local residents. A spacious community room is available for special group and community gatherings, serving as a social hub for friends, families, teams, church groups and more.

“Our goal is for Pizza Ranch to become an integral part of the Andover community, and the community room is a great place for groups to get together,” Hubin added. “We look forward to partnering with our neighborhood schools, church groups and other local organizations and helping them raise money through Community Impact Nights.”

Menu items remain focused on traditional Pizza Ranch favorites, with recipes dating back to the company’s origins, in addition to new innovative feature pizzas and salads such as the Meaty Tahiti Pizza and Aloha Salad. Famous for the "Buffet Your Way" concept, guests are encouraged to request their favorite pizza to be featured on the buffet and their first slice is delivered right to their table. Gluten free options are available to order off the menu, including gluten free pizza crust and toppings. Pizza Ranch is also known for its legendary chicken, recognized by most as simply the “Country’s Best Chicken®.
