Franchisees
What if I am interested in developing a market not indicated on the Territory Map? The market you are interested in developing may not be available for a number of reasons. If you meet the Requirements for Becoming a Pizza Ranch® Franchisee, and feel strongly about the opportunity in a market not listed, feel free to complete a Request for Information form. Someone from the Franchise Development team will contact you regarding your inquiry.
Do I need to be the restaurant operator in order to be awarded a franchise? If you will be a single-unit franchisee and this is your first time operating a restaurant, we know the owner/operator franchise system works best. If there is a partnership involved, at least one partner should be involved in full-time day-to-day operation of the business.
Does Pizza Ranch® offer multi-unit agreements? Yes. However, specific criteria must be met, including restaurant experience, management team, and financial benchmarks.
What is the approximate investment level for a Pizza Ranch® restaurant? Costs vary depending on the size of the store, the location, and the type of building (ground-up, remodel existing). Start-up costs may range between $785,100 - $1,779,500.
How much cash or liquid assets will I need? May I qualify with other financial partners? Minimum liquid cash assets and financial net worth requirements are adjusted according to the store profile you choose. You may qualify with other financial partners, who need to be included in the LLC or S Corp.
Is financing available through Pizza Ranch®? Pizza Ranch® does not provide direct or indirect financing.
What kind of profits can I expect with a Pizza Ranch® restaurant? Even with a successful concept, there is not a defininte answer to this question. Many factors contribute to the profitability of a restaurant, including: location, market size, management team, operating costs, guest services practices, financing terms. It is for this reason, in addition to restrictions by the Federal Trade Commission, that Pizza Ranch® does not project sales, costs, or profits. However, Pizza Ranch® has been in business for more than 29 years with over 151 pizza restaurants in 9 states. The Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) will provide you with historical information and also includes a list of current franchisees, many of who are willing to share information as you construct your financial projections. We also encourage you to discuss the business opportunity with an accountant and attorney.
What is the Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) and how do I receive one? The Franchise Disclosure Document provides prospective franchisees with information relevant to the franchise offering. It contains many facts helpful in your decision-making process regarding partnering with Pizza Ranch®. The FDD will be given to you at the first face-to-face meeting with a member of the Franchise Development team or a minimum of 14 calendar days before a contract is signed or money is paid, whichever comes first.
Should I complete an application? If you meet the Requirements for Becoming a Franchisee, we encourage you to complete an Application Form to start the process of becoming a Pizza Ranch® franchisee. Your application will be reviewed by the Franchise Development team and you will be notified of next steps, based on the information provided and the market areas in which you expressed interest.
